In order for the U.S. to maintain its competitive edge in the global economy, it needs to focus on attracting skilled professionals.
One of the best ways to do this is by allowing more skilled immigrants to become permanent residents. I’m not talking about unskilled, illegal immigrants who sneak in the back door. The kind of immigrants I’m referring to have skills and respectfully wait in line to enter the U.S. via the front door. They are highly educated and have much to contribute to the U.S.
