Bill Costello, M.Ed., is the president of Making Minds Matter, LLC, a media company that has produced content for PBS, Showtime Networks, USA Today, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Newsweek, Forbes, National Geographic, National Journal, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the National Association of Home Builders, the American Society of Association Executives, and hundreds of others.
Bill is the author of four books: Awaken Your Birdbrain: Using Creativity to Get What You Want, Creativity for Kids of All Ages, Cartooning with Math, and Cartooning with Letters, Numbers, and Shapes.
Bill writes a column about business, education, and political issues. He is uniquely qualified to do so because he has a bachelor’s degree in business, a master’s degree in education, and years of experience working as a nationally syndicated political cartoonist. Having traveled extensively throughout Asia, he often writes about issues occurring in that region and their impact on the West. His column is published in national and international publications, including American Thinker, EducationNews.org, the Florida Times-Union, the Providence Journal, Richmond Times-Dispatch, China Daily, the Japan Times, the Korea Times, and many others.
Every week, Bill co-hosts a talk radio show on FOX News Radio affiliate WNRR in North Augusta.

Previously, Bill was a nationally syndicated political cartoonist with cartoons published in over 600 periodicals. As a cartoonist, he won prestigious awards: the $10,000 Showtime Network Award for animation, the Overseas Press Club of America Citation for cartoons on international affairs, the Charles M. Schulz Award for college cartooning, and the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists Award for the best college cartoonist in North America. His cartoons appear in several editions of the Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year book series.
